Robert "Bob" Banco, 68, of Dudley, passed away at his home on Saturday, March 2, 2024.
Born in Roaring Spring on December 16, 1955, a son of the late John and Genevive (Scitticat) Banco.
He was a 1974 graduate of Tussey Mt. High School and had worked for New Enterprise Stone and Lime Co. as a Bridge Carpenter.
During his life he enjoyed cooking, deer hunting, woodworking, NASCAR, watching football, and collecting Dale Earnhardt memorabilia, and attended the Broad Top City Church of God.
Surviving are sisters, Amelia Mannern, widow of Charles, Susan Quade, widow of Joseph, Julia Silsley, wife of Jim, Anna Heath, wife of Dave, Diane Diehl, wife of Walter, Faye Black, and companion Jack and the widow of Mick, Alice Yoho, wife of Dave, Nancy Husick, wife of John, Janet Putt, wife of Gary, sister-in-law, Helen Banc, widow of Paul, brothers, Mike Banco, husband of Edna, Joe Banco, husband of Sue, Andy Banco, husband of Janet, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents and brother Paul, he was preceded in death by a brother Johnny Banco, and a sister Mary Banco.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. at 11 AM with Pastor Ron Wilson officiating. Friends will be received two hours prior to the service from 9-11AM.
Interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Broad Top City.
